テダ御川:沖縄 世界遺産は東御廻り.com

テダとは太陽を意味する言葉で、太陽神がここに降臨したと伝えられている。その昔、国王や聞得大君が久高島を参拝するときには、無事に船が航海できるようにと祝女（ノロ）たちがオモロ(奄美・琉球に伝わる古い歌謡)を謡い、航路安全を祈願したのだとか。ここへは知念崎（ちねんさき）の灯台を過ぎ、坂を下っていくと辿り着くが、テダ御川と記された石碑と説明板がなければ、かつては井泉であったことを想像するのはむずかしい。説明文によれば、昭和8年頃に背後の知名（ちな）グスクから採石したことが原因で、清水が枯れたという。しかし、目の前に真っ青な海が広がり、ほぼ真東の方向に久高島が見えるのは神聖な光景そのもの。東御廻りの聖地として、いまでも人々から崇められている。

Tida symbolizes the Sun, and it is said that the Sun God descended in this spring. In the past, when King and Kikoe-Okimi visit Kudaka Island to offer prayers, Noros used to sing Omoro praying for the safety of the trip. After passing by the lighthouse at Chinen Cape and go down the hill, you will get to the site; however, it is hard to imagine that it used to be spring without stone monument with caption saying, “Tida-Uka.” The caption reads that the spring was dried up when people quarried stones from the China Gusuku located behind the site in 1933. It is the breath taking view with holiness atmosphere to view Kudaka Island located in the east across the blue magnificent ocean.

冲绳方言太阳叫「teda」，传说太阳神落降于此。古时候，国王及闻得大君前往久高岛参拜时，祝女们唱吟琉球古诗来祈祷航行安全。穿过知念崎灯台，沿着下坡走，如果不见太阳御川的石碑及说明文的话，很难想象此处曾经有井泉。说明文里介绍到，1933年由于后面的知名城采石而使清水枯竭了。但是，眼前蔚蓝宽阔的大海，能瞭望到正东方的久高岛这正是神圣的光景。作为东行巡拜的圣地，人们至今仍前来参拜。
